Precious Craft and The Voices of Faith

The Voices of Faith is a 10-member vocal ensemble from the Sacramento area. Organized in 1967, this inter-denominational, intergenerational, multi-ethnic group performs regularly for religious, social and civic audiences of all sizes, and for various events and causes throughout Northern California and beyond.

The group's wide appeal is due to their unique style and varied repertoire.  From Handel to Hairston, classical to gospel, to the traditional African-American spiritual, The Voices of Faith can deliver it all.  This is beautiful, compelling music, is presented with vitality and enthusiasm, with no sacrifice of quality or dignity, and is designed to heighten the spiritual and social consciousness of the listeners.

The Voices of Faith have performed in churches of all sizes and denominations all over the area, and repeatedly at community patriotic and religious functions.  One of the most widely known of the community performances each year is the Celebration of Faith on Sunday morning of the Jazz Jubilee during Memorial Day weekend. They have just completed a highly successful six-day concert tour of Oahu, Hawaii in September 2002.

The group continues to be led by its founder and musical director, Precious Bell Craft.
