Drewey D. McKnight Jr. taught Mathematics and Industrial Arts at Terrell High School for 18 years. He also taught math at Denison High School and was the coordinator of Title One Mathematics for Denison Public schools. He was the first black principal since integration of public schools in Denison. He retired from Denison Schools in 1990 after 43 years.
